About Porcelain Tiles
Porcelain tiles are manufactured using a specialised blend of clay, sand, and feldspar and fired at high temperatures. This process creates a dense, hard-wearing tile that is stronger and more durable than ceramic alternatives.

Porcelain tiles are suitable for both internal and external use and offer a modern aesthetic through large-format sizing and consistent colouring. They are highly durable, making them ideal for high-traffic areas, while rectified edges allow for narrow, uniform joint spacing. Porcelain is also low maintenance, moisture resistant, and more resistant to scratches and scuff marks than ceramic tiles.

 

Things to Consider
Porcelain tiles can be more brittle and may require specialist cutting during installation. As with all porcelain products, variations in colour, texture, and size can occur between production batches.

 

Batch Guidance
Due to the batch manufacturing process, variations may occur. To maintain consistency, we recommend ordering the full quantity required for your project in one order and allowing an additional 3–5% for future repairs or replacements. Please retain the batch colour code shown on the packaging. Stradone Paving cannot guarantee stock from specific batches and does not keep batch number records.

 

Installation Advice
Quartz Porcelain tiles are suitable for internal flooring, external paving, wall applications (subject to tile weight), and high-moisture areas such as wet rooms and pool surrounds. Typical thicknesses include 10mm for internal use and 20–30mm for external applications. Professional installation is strongly recommended. Stack bond or third bond laying patterns are advised to manage tile variances, as half bond patterns may highlight unevenness and lead to water pooling.

Depot Collection
For collection orders, our team will confirm stock and contact you by phone or email when your order is ready. Please do not visit the depot until you have confirmation.

Out of Stock
If a product is out of stock, we will contact you with a revised delivery date or offer a refund. Imported items may take 6–12 weeks to restock. Delivery dates may be affected by shipping delays.

Small samples of natural stone and porcelain are available to help you choose colour and texture. We recommend visiting our display area for a full view. Some products, including certain porcelain items, adhesives, grouts, sealers, and cleaners, may not be available as samples.
